Documentos requeridos para bienes del hogar y efectos personales:

Copia del pasaporte y de la cédula de identidad.
Bill of Lading exprés (OBL) / Air Waybill (AWB).
Lista de empaque en español legalizada por el Consulado Uruguayo.
Certificado de residencia en español, indicando un mínimo de 2 años en el extranjero. Aplicable solo a ciudadanos que regresan.
Resolución de autorización, en caso de ser un diplomático uruguayo.
Certificado de ingreso emitido por la Dirección Nacional de Migración, aplicable a personas no ciudadanas, ciudadanos que regresan y extranjeros bajo residencia legal.
Certificado de residencia, solo para ciudadanos que regresan y extranjeros bajo residencia legal.
Documentos que prueben que se ha iniciado el procedimiento de residencia legal, solo para no ciudadanos.
Autorización de franquicia diplomática emitida por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Uruguay a solicitud de la embajada u organización internacional en Uruguay (solo para diplomáticos extranjeros).
Garantía aduanera, aplicable a extranjeros sin residencia legal uruguaya.
Carta de solicitud firmada a Aduanas solicitando la entrada de bienes del hogar y efectos personales (ciudadanos que regresan / extranjeros bajo residencia legal).
Carta de garantía bancaria (fianza) por el valor del envío, emitida por un banco local en Uruguay (solo para personas no ciudadanas).

Documentos requeridos para vehículos motorizados:

Copia del pasaporte o de la cédula de identidad diplomática emitida por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, solo para diplomáticos extranjeros.
Factura comercial original a nombre del propietario de los bienes y documento de conducción a nombre del propietario de los bienes.
Bill of Lading exprés.
Certificado o evidencia escrita de la matrícula del automóvil en el país de origen, fechada 6 meses antes de la llegada del propietario de los bienes a Uruguay y autenticada por el Consulado Uruguayo en el país de origen (solo para ciudadanos que regresan).
Evidencia escrita de flete y seguro emitida por la empresa de mudanzas en el país de origen en caso de que la mudanza se gestione desde Uruguay.
Copia de la cédula de identidad, aplicable a diplomáticos uruguayos, ciudadanos que regresan.
Confirmación de empleo del país de origen (solo para ciudadanos que regresan).
Confirmación de propiedad y uso en el país de origen por un período de más de 12 meses. Y declaración personal del propietario de los bienes, solo aplicable a ciudadanos que regresan.
Confirmación de residencia en el extranjero por un período de más de 2 años (ciudadanos que regresan).
Documento de propiedad del vehículo o documento de circulación emitido a nombre del propietario de los bienes (en el caso de diplomáticos extranjeros).
Declaración solicitando expresamente protección de acuerdo con la Ley N.º 18.250 y el Decreto N.º 330/2008 (ciudadanos que regresan).
Autorización de franquicia diplomática emitida por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores en Uruguay a solicitud de la Embajada u Organización Internacional (solo para diplomáticos extranjeros).
